In other, unrelated news: It's interesting to see that various feminist blogs out there would sigh and /facepalm at the sight of Dizzy, and yet you keep coming back to her, nipple buttons and all >_>
So, what's _your_ POV? I'm very interested ^ ^
As for the feminists, all I have to say is that I'd be sad to live in a world where people of both sexes were never dressed over the top in all sorts of sexy and revealing clothes -- especially when everyone is born naked. I don't mind fanservice no matter who it's aimed at: men, women, straight, gay, bi, you name it. Sure, I don't really understand the fundamentals of what objectification actually is, but I do know that the movie "Basic Instinct" was aptly named. It's in us and it affects how we see the world and what we think of as beautiful.
As far as character designs or conceptualizations go -- regardless of medium -- there will always be extremes on either side of the fence, from the extremely bouncy cast of Dead or Alive (/facepalm) to a body swap of Balthier and Fran in a feminist blog (clearly doing it wrong). In the end though, I prefer variety and enjoy living in a world where both exist and we're all free to praise or diss 'em. Variety is refreshing and you can't really appreciate how good the best are until you've seen the worst -- after all it's all relative.
So, keep doing your thing girl! Whether it be Rachel with Terumi's "raep face", half naked Dante clone or nipple button Dizzy, your art looks awesome and let no one tell you otherwise! \o/
And yes...the nipple buttons are....distracting...just like Justice's crotch spike...which I assume is a two-way Gear Dildo.
And how would I submit them? I've thought about it but never really considered it seriously.
